VSTONE SCHOLAR APPLICATION

Applicants must be enrolled in a program within the USA, Canada, or USA territories.

Students in their 4th year of veterinary school are eligible to be VSTONE Scholars. This $5,000 scholarship is awarded based on merit. The student’s academic success and demonstration of a strong desire to improve the quality of veterinary medicine in New England will be considered.

Deadline to apply is February 1, 2026.

To apply for this scholarship, the student must submit:

1. A reference from a Veterinary School Official. You will need to provide VSTONE with the name and contact information of your chosen School Official.
2. A reference from a Veterinarian in private/corporate practice or industry. You will need to provide VSTONE with the name and contact information of a Veterinarian who is familiar with you.
3. Transcripts from your first, second, and third years of veterinary school.
4. An Essay - “How I will impact the quality of veterinary medicine in New England.”
